From a personal take, businesses who have a high customer engagement would always win especially if they really help out people like us.
Speaking from experience, there has been a time wherein I got disappointed with a certain online shop. What was more frustrating was that the company delivered an item that was not even in my order in the first place. Moreover, I tried communicating with them about the complaint however, the steps they shared are still inconvenient from my end.
How frustrating could it get? Right?
I personally admire owners who truly work with their colleagues in delivering the best service to their customers. It’s a wonder that business owners who would put themselves in the shoes of their customers surely be a great key to delivering the best service in the industry they are in.

Choosing your colleagues is a tough thing to do. First, you’ll worry on how will they be when it comes to interacting with consumers. Second, will you be able to work with them? Lastly, is this really important to the business you are running?
So many questions puzzle us. Yet, why do we still look for a business that has great customer service?

With this mindset, we only long for the excellent service that will satisfy our needs. From jotting down what we are looking for to receiving what we ordered is probably one of the crucial parts in the transaction.
Previously, I experienced an encounter that really disappointed me. I ordered food at this fast food chain speaking clearly and carefully so the staff would understand me. Yet to my dismay, the who gave me my order got it mixed up. Sadly, I was given the food that I was allergic too. I told the lady to be careful next time. Good thing though she apologized and acknowledged her mistake.
As a fellow customer, we want the best people attending to our needs. Though it may not be guaranteed at the same time, we hope that their character would still prevail and help them fulfill their duties and responsibilities.

Aside from getting the items we purchased, we aim to gratify our needs and wants. We feel that we need to meet some standard before, during, and after the transaction.
From my perspective, this is where community managers would step in. I have high regard and admiration for community managers since they are the ones who would respond to our inquiries through their social media accounts. Moreover, they are the ones who absorb the stress we feel and still turn it into something good and positive. Even after all the stress and the disappointment we customers feel, they are still working hard to meet our standards and deliver what we want.
Through them, we get satisfied with their service.

For me, this is one of the most important things to factor in about customer service. The caliber of the service provided should match to what the business truly is. If they say they deliver your order within 30 minutes, they should be able to commit to it and make sure that the items are still in great shape.

These are all reasons why customer service is vital for small businesses. Through the feedback from satisfied customers, they can progress from that and eventually grow into a bigger and better business.
With the staff in the businesses giving their best efforts to deliver the best products to their customers, they devote themselves in accomplishing tasks that a customer needs. Getting to see the dedication that the employees possess is one of the greatest factors that customers look for.
