Condo Hunting: Symfoni Kamias

Symfoni Kamias: Invest in The Good Life

Looking for a place to live in is a very challenging task. You’ll be considering a lot of factors. From travel time to work, recreational activities, leisure places and more. Here’s more about Symfoni Kamias condominium.

Symfoni Kamias

It has been years when I started living here in the metro and looking for my own place was quite a hard task. There were really a lot of factors that you need to consider in looking for your own place. You have to check the location of the place, to and fro school or work. Your budget must be able to include the utilities, association dues, and even the rent or the monthly amortization, just in case you bought your own unit. Living near the school is such a great thing especially if you live away (like you’re from the province).

It took me a number of years before my mom allowed me to live in a condo by myself. I think, she had a hard time giving me permission since I’m an unica hija and it’s away from home. But eventually, she gave me her permission and it was one of the best thing ever!

Luckily, I’m lucky to meet Sam because his mom works in the real estate industry. She has been helping me out pick locations and even introduced me to properties that would be a possible place to live in. That’s when she told me about Symfoni Kamias.

Invest in The Good Life

As I have mentioned a while ago, location is one of the factors you need to consider in finding your own place. What’s great about this place is that it’s in a central location. It’s very accessible to schools like UP Diliman, Ateneo de Manila University, Miriam College, and Technological Institute of the Philippines. Not only that, but it is also accessible to recreational places like Robinsons Magnolia, Gateway Mall, and Araneta Center. It is also near to offices located in the business district.

Location Map

You may check the location map for what I’m telling you. You can go anywhere because it’s very accessible by public utility vehicles, booking a vehicle or by simply walking or biking around. If only, I was studying in one of those universities, I would’ve rented one. The people behind this formidable property is also thinking about you!

The people behind this formidable property is also thinking about you! They consider the monthly income you receive and approximately rent expense amounts to Php 8,000 to Php 15,000 monthly*. Their team handles administrative tasks in renting out your unit. Not only that but they are the first one (that I’ve heard of) to have an online booking platform!

But, you may wonder why am I writing this post. I am writing this post because I want to share this condo to those who are looking for a place to stay or invest in.

Other than that, I’ve been into the sample unit and what they are proud is:

Comfort by Design

Comfort By Design

Symfoni Kamias

Model Unit

This project located in Kamias, Quezon City is packed with features designed to make life as easy-breezy as possible. Giving us the best and most comfortable services as possible is one of their goals in line with this project.

Lower Light Switches

The ability to turn the lights on and off becomes accessible to every family member. It would be reachable to almost everyone in the household.

Lever-type Door Handles

This kind of door handle is my personal favorite! This requires less effort to operate than the usual doorknobs that we have. The handles make it easier for us to open and close when we are carrying a lot of stuff. Plus, another reason why this is my favorite: I feel like a princess whenever I open the door! 😂

Elevator Key Card Access System

Security is another factor we consider in looking for a place to stay. This condo has a building security that is enhanced by a system that limits floor access to its residents.

Bidet Attachment

Oh, the comfort of having a bidet! It always a different feeling when there is a bidet in your bathroom. 😌

Door Card Access System

This system provides an easy and sophisticated solution to home security.

Motion-activated Light

Entering your unit at night is quite a challenge especially if you are not familiar with your unit. Now, the light immediately turns on whenever you enter your unit. Isn’t it a great feature?

Features & Amenities

A condo would not be a condo without features and amenities. So prepare yourselves for the list of great things that they will give you!

Floor Plans

There are various sizes of units to choose from. There are units with balconies or choose a unit that has a great view.

Symfoni Kamias

Floor Plans

In locating the amenities, the pool, gym and function room are located on the third (3rd) floor of the whole building. If you are looking for a unit with a different view, this could be arranged when you get in touch with their property consultants.

My Final Thoughts

Personally, I really think that this will be a great investment. After all, it’s near offices and schools. Other than that, the turnover will be on the first quarter of 2019*, you can have your own unit that you may call home. Well, just in case you don’t like to live in it, you could always rent it out to students studying in the nearby universities and colleges.

Condo units are great for certain needs, but of course, there are other choices too. Regardless, condo is not an investment, unless it is bought by someone who will not live in it, but rent it out. So, there, all property sales people keep using the word investment, because that is how they want to market. But depending on an individual, it is either an investment or an expense. Rental makes sense if the purpose is to live near the university, for example. Because we all live more years outside of school, buying a property should be based more on where we work later.

The house interiors look really well done up. Considering it’s a prime location that is so close to offices and schools one can really think of investing in such a place. Idea of renting out to school/college students also sounds great… well all in all it would be profitable deal…

This is a perfect residence. I’m personally not very fond of Elevator key cards, as I keep thinking about emergency situations. Call me paranoid, but I’m someone who makes sure that the flotation device is in place as soon as I board a flight! I hope the emergency escape systems are well in place in this property. Otherwise the design looks great and accessibility esp from city centre and shops look perfect!

I believe any property with good location is a good buy. Location is such an important factor as it gives convenience and comfort. Time is very important and it is what good location can always promise- saves time. Of course, the condo features, modern day conveniences, and developer likewise count. Renting out a unit is a nice way to get income, but this needs the support of the condo’s property management group.

I’ve been planning to get a condo there in Manila for so long. But my husband doesn’t like the idea of condominiums. For him, its not practical. But i am persistent and ive been looking around to have one for me and the kids. Well, first as an investment, i want to rent it out. But lately, when i was talking to my son, he told me he wanted to study in Ateneo for college. And im all the more eager to get one for him. This place looks perfect having the place very accessible to schools. I might pay a visit here when i get back to Manila.

Awesome condo! I watched the video and I really like how space-saving the pieces of furniture are. It’s so cool how the bed can transform into a sofa! Good to know that the location is also central. That’s the most important part!

This condo unit looks nice. I’m also into rental business. We have a condo in Sucat that is just beside a school, PATTS. It’s also near the airports. Most of the people who rent our unit are students who study in PATTS. But, it’s also apt for those who work in the airport or who travel a lot throughout the year.

The studios seem great for students who want to be close to schools. Looking at the floor plans and reading about the amenities of the condo building, looks a very comfortable place to live. For me it’s too small but for a student it’s perfect, having all you need without being forced to share with other people.

I agree with you, this really looks like a good investment. It’s new and modern. I love those places that remind my of the first “all-in-one room” from Ikea. The beds, tables, everything that is there for different use and just make the whole place efficient and comfortable. The bathroom is amazing. I love the music on the video by the way Haha

A home is definitely a good investment! I love how affordable they are too considering the amenities that they offer.
Thanks for sharing as much info you can on them and the floor plans!
I live in California but a home in the Philippines is something I’d love to have in the future 🙂

My parents didn’t allow me to live by myself at first too. Unlike you, I did it the rebel way. Haha. I suddenly stopped going home for a week and when I did, I told them I have found a job with a high paying salary and with dorms included. Because they see it as an opportunity for me to learn, they eventually agreed and allowed me to live in the dorms. I moved out a few months later. 🙂

I moved thrice in a year due to several circumstances. I encountered receiving threats. I even encountered having a stranger open the door of my unit while I was taking a bath! That was the worse that I’ve experienced so far. I had to run to the door naked just to have it locked before he can barge in. When I shouted, “Kuya”, he suddenly ran down the stairs. The building admin caught a guy who they suspected to be the one, but it wasn’t the guy that I saw from the door’s peek hole. I believe it was an inside job. That’s when my then-boyfriend, and now-fiance, suggested we live in together.

The contract of the place that I am currently renting expires by May and my fiance suggested we find a place where we can live in together after marriage. So right now, I’m trying to look for a house for rent around Alabang or Bicutan area. If your friend knows any, it would be a great help to me as well!

I’m also planning to invest in a condo three years from now. This Taft property has an interior similar to my liking! A new Taft property is also still ongoing construction here in Cebu. I must definitely try and see if it’ll suit me. I definitely like its location because it’s at the heart of the city – not so far away from the malls and IT Park here!

In my opinion, a house and lot are good investments! Just knowing you were able to provide yourself house and lot after all the hard work you’ve done is already a success! I always thought about living in a condo especially if the location is in the Metro, but after hearing the amount of money you have to spend for a single room you’ll rent, well again it’s not a really good investment.

All the best to you in your endeavour. It would have been tough for your mom to let you go but I guess it is a part of life. Myelder daughter is going to be 17 this April and she is already showing signs of independence. I don’t mind that all but the unknown fear always lurks in my heart. I guess I am a conservative dad.

My husband and I never considered living in a condo because we both need space. I feel that condos are really limited in space but this unit you shared looks like the size was really maximized. I can’t imagine living in a 20sqm unit especially that we now have a growing and very active toddler. But for yuppies and first-time property owner, I think a condo is a perfect choice. I hope you find the best residence soon.

I remember the thrill of purchasing our condo. It was an exciting moment and a grown up one at that. I like living in our condo complex. The idea of a bidet is wonderful! I’m actually having one installed soon.

That video is awesome. I love how you can make so much with small spaces. Here in Stockholm the smalles apartments are around 28m3. It’s really hard to live there with 2 people or more but furniture like this helps a lot! Ikea is also pretty smart in using tricks to safe space. But this is high tech! Was great to see in the video!

Nice plug, I’m on the lookout for possible condo units to rent. This is something worth checking if we’ll can indeed rent for around 8k only! 😀 Though, you should ask for a better location map cos the condo isn’t even there hehe. Is it the green box on K-J st.? XD

Condo all the way. I lived solo for a month at a condo in Pasig last 2015, but I had to leave since I got work elsewhere. Haha. Sayang ng down payment for sure but yeah, life happens. I love looking at houses! You get a sense of what your ultimate crib would look like. I’m on the lookout for condos that have a lot of sunlight and a nice city view as well, preferably in Makati or Pasig/Taguig. Hehehe. Will you be moving?

If I haven’t found an apartment yet I’d like to consider this. I am not really thinking of buying a house and a lot, I am a city person, I think condo is a better choice for me. Although this opinion may change 5 to 10 years from now haha… Having said that, if I’m gonna rent out or buy a condo, I do want it to be near key places such as market, public transpo, and mall. I am always after the convenience when looking for a place to stay.

Oh definitely, it is on the affordable side so I am surprised it still hasn’t sold out yet. Blame it on the pandemic. Lol. But of course I can also assist those who are looking to own units here and in the latest preselling property, Symfoni Kamias Two!!! I will also post a blog about this soon.

Anyway, hopefully you will be able to live in your unit very soon upon turnover. 🙂
