Mini-Vacation at Parque España

November 21, 2016

At a hotel, there will be different features and amenities that guests could enjoy. As I mentioned, there was a bean shaped pool where we swam and enjoyed the view of the Alabang skyline. There’s a gazebo beside the pool where you could talk and catch up with your friends or family. All of these are located at the rooftop or the 19th floor. Same floor where Bistro del Cielo is also located.

Where to?

Aside from the bistro, there’s also the cabana where people have a nice view of Alabang and also can have a good time. People may order drinks from the bar. There are also schedules for singers and musicians to entertain guests and visitors.

Gazebo and Pool area.

You can take photos of the beautiful sight of Alabang and the nearby places. You may even take Instagram-worthy photos for your feed. One thing that I found unique is that they have a home for love birds. Birds who live with their partners and chirp a lot while having fun was music to our ears. Their chirps fill the air with refreshing music!

Towels will be provided when you go swimming. You may request from the staff.

Aside from these, there’s also a gym at the first floor. It is at the right side of the lobby when you enter. They have the latest equipment and a minimalistic feel inside. They have showers, toilets, and a pretty mirror!

You may face the mirror or the windows and see the outside while you work-out. If I were to stay longer here, I might have tried the gym actually. The equipment here is better than the ones here at our building. It’s great for fitness buffs!

Going to PERH

From Taft Avenue (cor Vito Cruz / Pablo Ocampo Sr):

  • We took the bus with a sign Alabang Town Center or ATC. Just to be sure, ask the conductor or driver if it will pass by ATC.
  • If you are taking the bus, you’ll be riding in front of BPI Family Savings Bank (which is in front of Torre Lorenzo Condominium).
  • For each person, the fare is Php 47 (roughly $ 1-2)
  • Remember to tell the conductor to drop you off at ATC because you might fall asleep during the bus ride. This is just to make sure you’ll get there. The choice is really up to you.
  • In our case, we were fetched at ATC by the shuttle provided by PERH. If you wish to be fetched there as well, you may arrange this when you book. Their shuttle service is to and fro nearby malls.

Going back to Taft

  • We asked them if the shuttle could send us to ATC and they did. So if you wish to do that, you may do so.
  • Since we were somehow lazy to commute, we took a car ride via GrabI just can’t quite remember if there was a promo back then. We paid around Php 300 ($ 6) and that’s from ATC to Taft Avenue.
  • You may opt to take a bus. But be careful which bus to take as there’s a terminal there wherein various vehicles are situated transporting people to different places. That was also the first time I saw a P2P bus taking passengers to and fro ATC and Greenbelt area.
  • If you plan on taking an Uber, you may but be alert if you are choosing the solo ride or the shared ride (UberPool).

Over-All Experience

Our stay was one of the best staycations or mini-vacations ever experienced! Truly, getting away from the city is one of the best things you can do to reward yourself after a week of pushing and working hard to get your goals. This is a great place to bond with your partner, friends, and families.

My favorite part of PERH is their rooftop. It is where you could see the skyline, refresh, and recharge. You can just simply lounge here near the pool area and breathe in some fresh air. Plus, when I entered the hotel, it gave me that refreshing feeling. Maybe because of their interior?

Dining at their bistro was also relaxing because if you choose the right seat, you could be overlooking Alabang landscapes. The food is great and the staff is so accommodating and kind.

So, try booking and planning your staycation now!

Hey, nice of you to have a staycation and blog about it. I rarely go to Filinvest, though. I am pretty sure I have seen the hotel the few times I was in the area. Siguro if I were going to pick one thing nice, it is the concept of having service apartment style rooms. I value separate bedrooms and sala in hotels/service apartments. As a matter of fact, my first choice has always been Ascott. One thing the management could do is to use wallpaper to decorate the walls.

For homes, I really discourage wallpapers. But in hotel rooms, I personally do not like blank painted walls.

This Hotel is truly lovely, I love the green surrounding and the view. The deluxe room is really that big and would love to rest my jaded body on the comforting bed. The overall set up is truly organized. Well written review and stunning photos.

I’ve never stayed in Parque España before but oh my that gazebo near the pool looks to be a great place for some fresh air. It’s a nice place to relax and just enjoy the expansive metro view. Their rates are pretty reasonable also especially the weekend rates. I’ll put this in my list for when I am near the area and would need a place to stay.

I love the room! I love the colors and there’s a lot of space. I also love it when an hotel has a gym! I started going to the gym recently and it’s nice if you can just proceed during your holiday! I would definitely try out some things there.

Is this place in the Philippines? Cool! It’s wonderful to learn about vacation spots like this one, where one can relax or focus and be productive on something. I’d have to comment on the font size though… It’s too small. haha 🙂 Nevertheless, I find the article/s informative. Love the fancy and playful interior of the room. I’m sure families with little children will enjoy a staycation there, perhaps stay longer than a couple of days. Also , Ilike the resto.. especially the choco chip cookies, as seen from the short intro vid! Hope you got the inspiration and rejuvenation you need! Cheers!

Nice! I like the apartment/condo vibe of this hotel. How’s the price? Interiors may not be the coziest I have seen but the homey feel is definitely to look after for 🙂

It is beautiful here, I love staycations because sometimes in life you just need a break and a few days of rest and relaxation without having to get on a plane to a different country. This place looks like it would be ideal to do just that!

The place looks amazing! I love hanging out and resting at places like these. I have a question, how was the people also staying at the place? Were there a lot of people? I appreciate also the style and the colors of the place, very elegant and sophisticated.a

Actually, there were only a few that we saw there. It wasn’t crowded or anything. Well, maybe because we visited during the weekdays? 😛

Wow I love the interior.. it looks small yet its very cozy and neat and I guess those are the qualities that matter the most! I love all your shots. The table set up is really creatively captured!

I love the colors of the walls, the blue tones look relaxting to me. Is it located in Manila also? The view from the window is very nice, great for a fresh morning start.

I thought this was at Espana haha, Alabang pala! Oooh, no wonder the layout of your room is that way, it was meant to be a condo pala hehe. Nice and cute place! 😀

  • Reply ROBERT LEE November 26, 2016 at 3:30 PM

I came back to watch the video. 🙂 I think there are improvements that can be made, so I hope you do not mind this at all. I’d like to see people. People walking in and out of the lobby. People getting food from the buffet table. I think people using/enjoying the offerings of the hotel delivers a powerful message of experience in the hotel. 🙂

Nice place here in the city. I like the interior inside the room. Very cozy. It’s an instagram friendly place. Hahaha. Bet you really enjoyed. I would want a great staycation too. Hey, it’s december. It’s not too late for me to book for one.

I thought it’s somewhere in Espanya. I would love to check it out sana for the Paskuhan overnight! But it’s too far from me. The room seems like a condo than a hotel room for me which is nice. It’s like home. You so lucky to be able to try it for free. And it looks so peaceful and not crowded.

I love that they lets you cook for your own food. Not many hotels do that and some even charge horrendous corkage fees. I guess its perfect for families traveling together because they’ll get to save on food costs. That is if they were on a budget. 🙂

Looks like a cozy place to stay in. Muted tones in design makes it seem like a more relaxing place to stay. I’ll have to keep this in mind. First reading I thought it said Paranaque.
