The One That Adds Channel: iFlix Channels

Just last September 20, iFlix Philippines formally launched iFlix Channels. It combined various channels that would let us binge watch shows and movies. From Disney to Marvel and even up local channels like ABS-CBN and GMA plus Star Cinema, it’s there!

The One That Adds Channels: iFlix Channels

Last September 20, iFlix Philippines launched iFlix Channels. They held it in Apartment 27 with awesome elements that would allow you to interact with other guests as well. At some point, I felt I was in Arendelle when I saw the floor with Disney stuff.

From what I’ve seen in the app, it’s more organized. You can choose the series or movies by its network or owner. Believe me, it very very convenient! I’ve never had so much fun while looking for the show or movie that I’d want to watch. Trust me, binge watching is now on a whole new level!

What I truly loved about this new feature is that its content expanded a lot more. I have access to local films and series that I missed back during its regular airing. Back when I was a lot younger, I got limited access to the television since studies was the priority. I know it kinda sucks but it’s also fun of some sort.

Truthfully, I have a long-time crush on Rico Yan who passed away when I was a child. He was somehow one of the most incredible actors of his time. This time, I was able to watch their movie and feel the kilig up to my bones!

To my non-Filipino readers who might encounter this, kilig is the lovestruck feeling you get when your crush smiled back at you or noticed you. I don’t exactly know if this has a direct translation to English. Kilig is more of lovestruck plus butterflies in your stomach all together.

*  – Title availability depends per territory.

So, you could just binge watch more and more every single day.

Honestly, the tita in me finds it hard to understand iflix. But thanks to your simple explanation. I got to understand its beauty and the benefit for having one. I guess I need this as I am often left at home and sometimes, watching movies is one of the things i could do relax me. I will check this out this week.

This is really cool! I actually have some friends who work in iFlix and for the longest time, they have been telling me to subscribe already but I keep forgetting to. I’m actually not used to the concept of subscribing to these things (including Netflix) but I can imagine that it would be a great way to kill time. And now that they have channels, there are more reasons to check this out!

This seems interesting and a boon to kill time. 🙂
We have some similar channels here in India but not sure if they have this wide range of options.
I liked the options of channels very much. Wishing all the best for the new venture.

iFlix seems as an excellent service provider!! I also love the option of seeing the shows and movies we missed during the regular airing. Sometimes I just want to stay out longer than usual due to excellent company and very interesting events, but I know I will miss my favourite show or even the long expected sports event. However, this way I am 100% sure that I will be able to see the episode when I get back home, no matter if I am late.

Oh this is cool! I love iflix and the reason why i downloaded it and subscribe was because of Arrow! I watched season 1 to 4 at iflix until i got access to another site where i can watch season 5. Now i cant remember the last time i used iflix after my free trial! Lol! Glad they got channels now. Will check this out!

That seems pretty interesting. Hope they come to India too soon. Have some such channels in India too, but the connectivity is always an issue. Would love nothing more than a cuppa and binge watching my favourite movies all night long! So wish it got here soon!

This is great news! But how much is it for those who are not iFlix subscribers yet? We might try it since our family enjoys watching tv so much! Hehe.

You know, you can get a year’s worth of subscription for free if you enroll in PLDT internet packages. Me and my kids love iflix cause of all the rerun movies that we can watch,.. Where else can you get old teleserye titles other than here? I wish though that they can also add in sineskwela or the old kid’s shows here too…

I am actually thinking of subscribing to pay television though I have a bit of hesitation if it’s really worth it. I never knew that iflix includes local tv channel — might as well consider this instead of getting a digital box. Will try to read more about their service.
