How to Bring Your Hair Products in Order

Here are some tips:

  1. Check expiration dates

We often forget that hair products also have expiration dates and become useless over some period of time. According to experts at Salon East NYC, it’s essential to check expiration dates of your hair products at least once a month and get rid of the expired ones. Your hair won’t like spoiled products!

  1. Do you really need it?

Many women have a habit of buying and keeping products or tools they don’t actually need. A huge amount of unneeded products makes it difficult to keep everything organized, that’s why you should determine whether you really need them. Have a curling iron you use once a year? Learn to curl your hair with the help of a flat iron instead!

  1. Store everything properly

Your life will become much easier if you keep your hair products and tools organized. Some experts at Salon East NYC recommend storing everything depending on how often you use it. Put products you use daily in easy-to-reach places and keep your tools in a separate cabinet.

  1. Make purchases wisely

It is extremely difficult to resist a temptation when your favorite products are on sale. On the other hand, will you be physically able to use four bottles of your favorite shampoo until they get expired? Probably not, so don’t waste your money and make purchases wisely!

  1. Give up free stuff

Nothing is more difficult than giving up stuff you got for free – samples, gifts, and products. Should you use products you don’t really like just because you got them for free? It’s up to you, but the choice of products is very personal, so give them away to somebody who really needs them.

So now I am hesitant to give away too much information or samples too soon, but then how much information should one give in order to secure an opportunity to present ones product formally to a retailer?

I usually get a rebond so that I don’t have to think about my hair much. I guess in a way I’m not taking as much care as I should. It’s always good to check all products periodically for expiration dates past due. Trying free stuff can be tempting but it is harmful for our hair.
