Change is coming to: Pangalan.com!

Pangalan.com

Majority would say that change is coming or the change has begun. This July, witness Pangalan.com revamp their logo and change for the better!

Change is coming to: Pangalan.com

Pangalan.com is an expansion in the Philippines of the successful domain registrar in Japan called Onamae.com. It operates under GMO-Z.COM Pte; a subsidiary of GMO Internet Group.

GMO Internet Group is a Tech Giant in Japan. Under its umbrella is Onamae.com, which is one of Japan’s largest domain registrar and the first ICANN-accredited domain registrar in Asia, serving millions of customers.

Following the same brand footprint and level of excellence from our HQ in Japan, it brings quality online services to Filipinos from domain registration to reliable web hosting, domain forwarding or website creation and management.

With the belief that internet is for everyone, we strive to reach out to more Filipino Entrepreneurs and advocate the power of the World Wide Web to help them succeed.

The Change

Pangalan.com

New logos of Pangalan.com!

As we all know, companies go into rebranding, revamping and change. What we know is they aim to bring the best services to Filipinos. From providing affordable domain names to web hosts and to website builders.

Witness the change in their website tomorrow, and see the new promos and services they wish to provide us. Filipinos bringing the best to fellow Filipinos. It’s just one of the best things that happen.

Reasons why I love them:

At first, it was unknown to me that they existed. Honestly. It was through Superaena and the other bloggers that I have known them. And, reading and learning about them was one of the best things that happened when I started blogging. I’ve been availing of their service since 2014 when I first my domain name from them. That’s when it all started.

To make things easy (to read), I’ll be doing it in bullets:

  • They have the most affordable domains than most domain registration sites. — I got my domain for Php 199 when they had a promo. I got it renewed this year for Php 550. Also, they are my web host and never have I ever encountered any downtimes ever since I started availing their service.
  • They have the kindest and most accommodating tech people (or support). They would help you with all the technical problems with the most that they can.
  • They have various modes of payments (e.g. Paypal, bank deposit, Dragon Pay) that would be helpful to people who may not have access to other modes like online payment or offline.
  • Lastly, it is for the Filipinos by Filipinos. What I mean by that is that I support local! 😊

Change does not happen annually like those new year resolutions. This happens almost every time but we hardly notice. Maybe it’s about time that we strive to support our local entrepreneurs and brands. Why not give Pangalan.com a visit now?

Now ko lang narinig ito. Haha. I always thought kasi the only local domain name registrar we have was dot.ph, and they are pricey. Since the web is all about .com, I went with foreign companies. Is the server you are hosted on located here or they have data centers outside the country?

With the servers, I don’t know much of it but I think it’s located here. 😀

we have several data centers located in Singapore, Japan and US 🙂 to make sure no down time! 🙂

Great article for people that wants to start blogging or are interested in how it works. I use one.com myself. Next to that I use WordPress and a theme on top of that.

Love the name of this website! It’s super apt for the domain registration industry. And it’s great that it’s in the local language. Lots of people from all industries should get their websites because they’re missing a lot!

Thank you, Sam! That’s true, others really think differently when you have a “.com” instead of “.blog platform.com” 😀

I had never heard about this but glad that they make it affordable. Another good thing about what is am reading here is great tech support. There is nothing worse than registering your domain and having tech support be weak or not wanting to help.

Great thing for blogger from Philippines! Kind tech people, being affordable and various payment options are really important factors and they all got it covered 🙂

Since I started blogging, great tech support is one of the big deals for me whether it’s availing domain or hosting or any other kind of service. I’ve heard of pangalan.com a number of times already and honestly, I’m not sure if I’d be trusting their brand. Glad to have read this post 🙂

Picking a domain registrar is very important! I searched quite a while before I made my decision. I looked at prices. But also templates and the way my website would look. And statistics. All important things to take into account. Great that you give some advice for bloggers. It’s hard to compare them all and make a choice!

Does the fee include the domain privacy? they got reasonable rate there. I just wonder if the domain rate includes the privacy and if so, that’s a good deal then!

    • Reply Julie Bulaklak July 18, 2016 at 12:39 pm

Whois Privacy is already included. Just don’t forget to tick this option when checking out 🙂

This is the first time that I heard of them. I didn’t know there’s such a company. It’s good to know that it’s a local company and their services are affordable. I hope they get to sustain their good performance so more would trust them and choose them over other foreign providers.

  • Reply Johna July 16, 2016 at 10:35 am

Ooooh that’s cool! Love that it’s a good change that’s coming hehe. I’ve actually never heard of this company, will definitely look into this 😀

  • Reply Berlin July 16, 2016 at 10:45 pm

Indeed very affordable! And i like how they named their company pangalan- suits the services they give.

I have a blogger friend who uses pangalan.com. Personally, I use Bluehost, but I wouldn’t mind checking out pangalan when my contract expires because wow it’s support cheap!

  • Reply Rowena C July 20, 2016 at 4:02 pm

This is affordable. I’m currently looking for my own domain and might consider this one

  • Reply Neri Ann July 22, 2016 at 2:39 pm

I bought my domain from them! And I think their prices is reasonable. I got mine for P350 only a year and won’t mind to renew it again next year.

  • Reply walkwithmisspiggy August 13, 2016 at 9:23 pm

Planning to get this one but still researching on some. It is affordable

  • Reply Herbert Kikoy February 23, 2017 at 9:23 am

Only last year I learned about this local domain name provider. I am a huge GoDaddy user and been with them for quite some time now. I guess, this local business deserves a try. It’s a local brand, our support would surely push them up. We are planning to put up a series of website this year and we will surely consider Pangalan.Com on our list for domain purchases.
